Derrick has 25 years of consulting and corporate technology, risk, and cyber experience leading global transformation projects. Derrick’s prior roles include Senior Director with QCi, Head of Risk Management at Shire/Takeda, Director with PwC, and Partner with Accenture.

Derrick has experience in pharma/life sciences, energy, and financial services. Derrick served as an outsourced CISO and CRO and has worked in the U.S., South Africa, Europe, and Australia. Derrick is a frequent author and speaker and served as an advisor to the World Affairs Council of Atlanta.

Derrick has a Master of Science in Cybersecurity and a Bachelor of Science in Computer Science. Derrick has various certifications in management consulting, Six Sigma, and SAP. Derrick is also an adjunct professor in the College of Computing and Software Engineering at Kennesaw State University in Georgia.
